2013-10-05 11:14

Kidney failure is one of the most serious diseases among many kidney diseases which can threaten people’s life severely. Once this disease doesn’t be treated effectively for a long time, the condition of it will deteriorate rapidly, finally will develop into end stage kidney failure. So when many kidney disease patients are checked with end stage kidney failure, they ask the doctor how long can they live with this disease and how to treat it effectively. About the two questions, the following may help you greatly.

End stage kidney failure also can be said it arrived in the stage of uremia. However, the condition of uremia is absolutely different. So how long can patients live with end stage kidney failure mainly depends on the level of illness, such as whether patients still have urine, whether there are complications caused by kidney failure, whether kidney has fibrosis completely and so on. If patients have certain amount of urine, which explains kidney still has some functions to some extent. Under the circumstances, if patients protect the rest of kidney function very well and treat the damaged kidney appropriately, this may prolong the lifetime and patients can enjoy their life although this disease exists.

At present, there have not a precise time to tell patients how long they can live with end stage kidney failure, because everybody has different physical quality, mood and choice of therapy. However, if patients treat kidney failure immediately as well as have a good mentality or other good habits, all of these can speed up the recovery of disease, there is no doubt that these people have more opportunities than the people who give up themselves.

In our daily life, it is always seen that most of people with end stage kidney failure choose dialysis to prolong their life, but it is obvious that dialysis only can replace a part of kidney and it has a lot of side effects which can lead to many complications to aggravate illness.

Therefore, to the patients with end stage kidney failure, if they still have urine output and don’t want to start dialysis, they can try to choose an Immunotherapy which may help them greatly.
