What Are The Symptoms Of End Stage Renal DiseaseSymptoms of End Stage Renal Disease maybe slightly different from individual to individual, but they are generally contained in the following:

1. Gastrointestinal Symptoms

Almost all the End Stage Renal Disease patients will experience gastrointestinal symptoms like poor appetite, bad taste in mouth, nausea and vomiting. If the illness condition is severe enough, they may also suffer from diarrhea, constipation, and even haematemesis(vomiting blood) which usually occurs due to erosion of gastric mucosa or peptic ulcer.

2. Urine changes

Bubbly urine, blood urine and frequent urination at night are the early symptoms of kidney problem. When illness condition progresses to End Stage Renal Disease, other symptoms like decreased urine output or anuria will occur as well.

3. Nerve problems

The most common nerve symptoms among End Stage Renal Disease patients are muscle tremor, insomnia, poor concentration, poor memory, numb limbs and headache. For patients with End Stage Renal Disease, if toxins in their blood can not be removed timely, they also experience convulsions, coma, seizures, mental confusion, hallucination and deliration and so on.

4. Skin problems

Itchy skin is one of the most bothersome symptoms of End Stage Renal Disease and it affects patients’ life seriously. Because of itching feeling, they may stay awake all the night as they have to scratch themselves all the time. What’s worse, in day time, they become unable in concentration on what they are doing because of this terrible symptom. Besides, in some cases, End Stage Renal Disease patients may also experience darken skin and dry skin.

5. Bone problem

Bone problem like bone pain, bone fracture and osteoporosis is also a major complain among End Stage Renal Disease patients. And it is usually closely related with low calcium level and high phosphorus level in blood.

6. Respiratory symptoms

Respiratory symptoms that may occur among End Stage Renal Disease patients include shortness of breath, deep breath and breath with difficulty.

7. Other symptoms in End Stage Renal Disease

Aside from the above symptoms, End Stage Renal Disease also can cause dizziness, bleeding, fatigue, swelling, irregular heartbeat, headache, muscle cramp, poor sexual desire, menstrual irregularities, multiple bruises, frequent infections and even frequent hiccups.

End Stage Renal Disease is the most severe stage of Chronic Kidney Disease(CKD) and acute kidney problem. It may involve all the body systems, so patients may experience various symptoms. To get these annoying symptoms removed effectively, the most important part is to repair kidney damages and improve kidney function.
