Is There A Possibility to Manage My Creatinine 4.3

2014-01-29 19:00

Q:

Hi, doctor. I am a kidney disease patient with creatinine 4.3. Here I would like to know more about my condition. Is there a possibility to manage my creatinine 4.3? I do not want to experience dialysis treatment. There are many people with the similar conditions have already been on dialysis. Please help me.

A:

Firstly, you should know that the appearance of high creatinine level is enough to tell the kidney damage and impaired kidney function as our kidneys have very strong compensatory ability. The creatinine will not increase until about 50% of kidney function is lost. Please note the high creatinine level we are talking about here is only caused by kidney disease. What is more, your creatinine 4.3 can tell the condition has already developed stage 4 Chronic Kidney Failure, the second advanced stage of kidney disease. In many countries, dialysis or kidney transplant will be needed in the near future when condition develops to this stage.

However, only a creatinine level is not enough to decide whether dialysis should be started or not. It depends on patients’own conditions. You are recommended to click When Will A Kidney Disease Patient Know He Needs Dialysis to know more.

As to is there a possibility to manage creatinine 4.3, we do believe the answer is yes. Firstly, a reasonable diet can be helpful, then we do believe that to make kidneys work normally again by repairing kidney damage and recovering renal function becomes the best way. Nowadays more and more foreign patients come to try Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy and Immunotherapy. So be optimistic about your life, and remember that you have the right to enjoy your life.
