I just found out I have stage 3 Chronic Kidney Failure, so I am learning what I can about it. I understand I can't go back from here. Does it progress no matter what? I have diabetes but it's under control, I have rheumatoid arthritis. I also have common variable immunodeficiency.
Hi, how are you? Thankings for leaving us message. Your illness condition is complicated, as you have so many health tissues. Here I will try to give you some suggestions and hope it is helpful for you. Also, if you have any further questions, you can email to firstname.lastname@example.org directly and we will ask our experts for help to help you solve your problems.
Firstly, you said you have Diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis and immunodeficiency, all of which can cause kidney problem. Therefore, what is the root cause of your stage 3 Chronic Kidney Failure. If you have no ideal about that, I suggest you to have further tests to found out it. Only by removing the root causes, can kidney problem be treated well.
Secondly, what symptoms are you experiencing now? Are these symptoms controlled? Chronic Kidney Failure can cause many health tissues like high blood pressure, proteinuria and anemia and so on. It is imperative to bring them under control as they play an aggravating factor during the whole process of illness progression.
Thirdly, have you make any changes about your diet? If no, please action at once. Improper diet bring extra burden on kidney, which may worsen illness condition. People with Chronic Kidney Failure have different diet requirements, but they generally need to limit salt intake, limit protein intake, limit potassium intake and limit phosphorus intake. (I can help you analysize your illness condition and give specific diet suggestions if necessary, but I need to know more about your illness condition firstly)
Fourthly, quit smoking, drinking and avoid staying up at night. All these bad living habits can worsen your physical condition and aggravate your kidney problem and other health problems.
Lastly, as for your question: does Chronic Kidney Failure stage 3 progress no matter what? I’d like to help you understand that Chronic Kidney Failure can not be cured, as dead kidney tissues can not be revived. But for patients with early stage illness condition, they can live well without being affected by kidney problem if the treatment is effective and timely enough. For you, your illness condition is not as serious as these in advanced stage and there is great chance for you to avoid further kidney damages. Chronic Kidney Failure progresses as more and more kidney tissues are damaged over time, so when further kidney damages are avoided, illness progression will be stopped effectively.
