Ingredients: 2 and 1/2 cups green cabbage, 1/2 cup carrots, 1/4 cup dried cranberries, pineapple

How to make it: 1. Shred green cabbage and carrots;

2. Mix the shredded cabbage and carrots in a bowl;

3. Crush the pineapple and put it with the juice into the bowl;

4. And then add the cranberries;

5. Put the salade in refrigerator for 30 minutes before enjoying it.

Generally speaking, fresh vegetables and fruits are good for kidney disease patients because most fruits and veggies are low-protein, low-fat, high-fiber and high-vitamin which meet the diet principle for CKD patients. However since many of them are high-potassium or high-phosphorus, patients should not have too much each time or it can worsen their electrolyte imbalances or even cause life dangers.
