It is a common condition that affects many patients with kidney failure worldwide annually. Therefore, these patients want to know the question-is heartburn a sign of kidney failure?

Overview of heartburn causes

In fact, heartburn is a symptom of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and it is usually caused by acid refluxing into the esophagus. For sufferers, heartburn is an uncomfortable warm and warns of some severe underlying causes.
